In a few weeks I will bike from Central Jersey through Upstate NY to support kids suffering from pediatric illness. This is no ordinary cycling event; it’s an exhilarating ride ending at Camp Simcha, a remarkable overnight camp that provides seriously ill children with a vacation from sickness, restoring their spirits and renewing their determination to fight.

Unfortunately in 2014 a family friend's son, Evan Levy, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He was sweet and fun loving and brought everyone around him joy and laughter.

Sadly, Evan lost his battle just 18 months later. Through the grieving, his family was incredibly grateful that they had the resources to be able to focus 100 percent of their efforts on Evan and their other children. Unfortunately, lost in the madness of childhood cancer are the financial burdens that can overcome a family in crisis. Things that were once taken for granted, suddenly become unaffordable luxuries. As such, Evan's family, in conjunction with Chai Lifeline, has established the Evan Levy Fund, with the sole purpose of alleviating some of the monetary pressure that families in crisis face.

I kindly ask that you partner with me, the Levy Family and Chai Lifeline to help struggling families staring childhood illness in the face. Every cent raised from my personal campaign will go to directly to families supported by the Evan Levy Fund.

I will be biking to camp on Tuesday, July 16th, 2019. My objective is to raise $10,000 by then, and I hope you will help me reach this goal. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
