This summer I will bike from Central Jersey through Upstate NY to raise at least $3,600 for Chai Lifeline and the children of Camp Simcha.

This year I will #RideForaReason that's closer to home than most people realize. People hear the name Chai Lifeline and think about children with cancer. That is a tremendous part of the group Chai Lifeline supports. But there are also many other reasons that a family might turn to Chai Lifeline for support. Families like mine.

Our little Juliette/Yehudis Mazal is a Chai Lifeline kid. She is healthy, thank God. She is also beautiful and to us she is perfect.

But there is more to our precious baby girl than meets the eye. For our family, healthy is a relative term and we count our blessings every day that she remains healthy while understanding that everything can change over the course of just a few hours.

Chai Lifeline was there for us very soon after Juliette was born, through the support provided by my Tour de Simcha team mates and the TDS director. Chai Lifeline has helped us schedule appointments with specialists, driven us to procedures in the early morning hours, and provided meals and support during a hospital stay.

We have a lifetime of challenges ahead of us, that we know we can face head on with the support of an organization like Chai Lifeline.

Donate to my Tour de Simcha ride to support the work Chai Lifeline does with its hospital based support programs, its camps for children who require constant medical care (Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special) and its many other community based programs.

I will be biking to camp on Tuesday, July 16th, 2019. My objective is to raise $3,600 by then, and I hope you will help me reach this goal. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
