Sharon Zisholtz

Hi, on July 16th I will be biking 75 miles to Camp Simcha, to raise money for the Chai Lifeline organization. The camp is one of many programs, created by the Chai Lifeline organization, to help children who are fighting serious illness. I will be biking in memory of my incredible sister in law Vivian Zisholtz and former camper at Camp Simcha, Adeena Paknoush.

Vivian touched the lives of everyone she met. She had impeccable style and taste, was kind and loving and ALWAYS happy. She enjoyed giving to others; her family, friends and her community, were enriched by her generosity and positive outlook.

Adeena, a friend and classmate of my daughter, was a sweet, kind, selfless young women. My daughter speaks highly of Adeena. She credits Adeena for encouraging her to take on projects she would not have pursued normally. Adeena motivated people, all over the world, to perform acts of kindness. Camp Simcha played a large part in sustaining Adeena’s attitude and emunah in Hashem.

Camp Simcha is an overnight summer program for children with serious illness. The program offers them an opportunity to leave the hospital setting, and have fun with other children, in a safe, medically supervised, environment. Please help me exceed my goal for Chai Lifeline so they can continue their work offering wonderful programs for these incredible children. Thank you!

If you want a glimpse of the amazing work Chai Lifeline is doing, check out this video, taken after the Camp Simcha March of Hope. youtu.be/wntNScrxDVo.

Best regards,

Sharon Zisholtz

Riding in Recovery of

Anny

Age: 16

Anny's brain tumors robbed her of her sight, but not of her determination to develop her talents. For her Bat Mitzvah, she recorded a CD of her own songs to raise money for Chai Lifeline. This year she started in the music program at Frisch High School in New Jersey. She plans to become a professional singer, songwriter and actress.
