I am challenging myself both physically and mentally by riding Tour De Simcha and raising money for an important cause, Camp Simcha, at the same time.
The ride won't be easy; neither is life for a child with cancer or other serious illness. Camp Simcha and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special, are Chai Lifeline’s flagship programs. Every year these two camps offer over 400 children a chance to forget about their illness and just be kids again.
I will be riding with a team of amazing women in memory of Evan Levy, z"l. Evan was taken from us way too soon, at only four and a half years old. It's so fitting that we are riding into Camp Simcha in Evan's name. Every dollar I raise will go to a fund established in Evan's memory. The Evan Levy z"l Fund, a division of Chai Lifeline, helps parents spend precious time with their child battling illness.
Thank you for supporting me, for helping to keep Evan's memory alive, and doing good in his name by supporting such a special cause that helps children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatment, and aftermath of serious pediatric illness.
My goal is to raise $10,000. Please join me in supporting Camp Simcha.
