There is nothing that makes a parent happy than seeing their children happy, carefree , loved and loving. My daughter Miriam has a chronic and progressive disease called Familial Dysautonomia which makes every day very challenging. But at Camp Simcha, she feels happy, carefree and loved. She feels like a regular kid at camp for 2 weeks.
This is not a regular camp though. There is a medical clinic on site, medical staff, helicopter rides, zip-lining, celebrities visiting and every whim taken care of.
You know how else it's not regular? It's free! Yes, you heard me, free.
Chai Lifeline sends 600 kids every summer to camp. It costs approximately $6000 per kid.
I am riding 100 miles across New Jersey and Upstate New York and will arrive at Camp Simcha to hug my girl (and many many other people!). Please donate generously so I can reach my goal of sending one kid to camp!!
